Dean loves working with his hands and with a growing interest in this business, it was an easy decision to take over this long-running Brantford business and re-brand it as his own. Dean spent the last 10 years working in trades and continues to enjoy providing a service to both people and local businesses, it makes him feel like he is truly helping them. His spare time is spent enjoying time with his wife and beautiful daughter.

At Brantford Sharpening we want you to have sharp tools for your kitchen, garden, and workshop and find joy in the work again. We treat your tools as if they were our own – with the utmost care and attention and if you aren’t satisfied bring them back and we will correct it or money back.

When tools are sharpened on a regular basis you will be able to do a better, faster and easier job also meaning your productivity will increase. It will also allow you to work more neatly, accurately and safely, which will mean less waste.

How It Works

Personal Drop Off & Pick up: You may personally drop off/pick up articles needing sharpening at the drop off centre Silverfox Productions at 43 SPalding Dr. Unit 2 Brantford (front door of the building the shop was located)., NO appointment necessary. Call 519-753-6721 or email brantfordsharpening@gmail.com with any questions.
Mobile Sharpening. Call 226-208-2388 to make an appointment with our mobile division and we will come take care of your sharpening needs on the selected date and time (Groomers/hairdressers/barbers).
Shipping: You may ship articles needing sharpening via a carrier of your choice. Use a box, never an envelope, and wrap the knives etc. securely in paper, taking care to secure knife tips. Every attempt is made to return the sharpened knives in the same box. Once I receive the items to be sharpened I will call for credit card information on the cost-plus return postage. There is a $10 per box fee for returning knives and tools if I need to use a new box. Please contact for shipping address.
Payment for Services: Payment is due after services are rendered (except for shipped items). We accept Cash, Debit, Major Credit Cards, or e-transfer.
